What it does
FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke/CO) is the full featured home fire detector. It senses heat, smoke and carbon monoxide, sounds its own siren and sets off every other fire detector in the system. It comes in RB (replaceable batteries) and SB (sealed batteries) versions and also works standalone.

- Dual spectrum optical smoke sensor with blue and infrared LEDs and a dustproof chamber
- Two A1R class thermistors; alarms at 64 C or a rise of more than 10 C per minute
- CO sensor rated for up to 10 years; alarms at 50 ppm within 90 minutes, 100 ppm within 40 minutes or 300 ppm within 3 minutes
- Up to 7 years on replaceable CR123A batteries (RB) or up to 10 years on sealed batteries (SB)
- Built-in 85 dB siren; interconnected alarms across up to 200 detectors within 20 seconds via the hub
- Jeweller encrypted two-way radio, up to 1,700 m in open space; two colours
