What it does
FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke) covers the common case of a bedroom or hallway detector. It uses a dual spectrum smoke sensor and two thermistors, sounds an 85 dB siren and interconnects with the other fire detectors in the system. RB and SB battery versions are available.

- Two A1R class thermistors; alarms at 64 C or a rise of more than 10 C per minute
- Up to 7 years on replaceable CR123A batteries (RB) or up to 10 years on sealed batteries (SB)
- Built-in 85 dB siren with distinct tones
- Interconnected alarms: up to 200 detectors within 20 seconds via the hub, or up to 50 within 60 seconds if hub contact is lost
- Jeweller encrypted two-way radio, up to 1,700 m in open space; works standalone without a hub
