Everything Beyond™ builds sits on this stack. Below is why each tool earned its place, who it suits and what to watch, written from our own use rather than from the brochure.

Intelligence

Claude

The model behind our angles, scripts and the way we build.

How Beyond™ uses it: Ad Engine angles, scripts and briefs. The Beyond™ assistant on gobeyond.nz. Day to day building.

Why it is in the stack
Claude writes the three ad angles in Beyond™ Ads, drafts the scripts and captions, and sits behind the assistant on this site. It follows a brief closely and says when it does not know, which matters when the output goes in front of customers.
Best for
Teams that want writing and reasoning help they can constrain with clear rules, and developers building products on the API.
What to watch
Set the rules in the system prompt and check outputs early on. Like any model it will fill gaps if you let it, so we give it facts and tell it not to invent.

Supabase

Postgres, auth and storage for every Beyond™ product.

How Beyond™ uses it: Beyond™ Portal, Beyond™ Ads, this site's leads and chat, all on Supabase in Sydney.

Why it is in the stack
Postgres with auth, storage and row level security in one place. Every Beyond™ product, this site included, keeps its data here. Security lives in the database, so a leaked browser key cannot read what it should not.
Best for
Anyone building an app that needs a real database without running one. Strong fit for small teams that want SQL and sane defaults.
What to watch
Row level security is only a lock if you write the policies. Do that before you ship, not after.

Vercel

Where our sites and apps ship in seconds.

How Beyond™ uses it: This site and every Beyond™ web app deploy from GitHub to Vercel.

Why it is in the stack
Push a branch and it is live with a preview link in about a minute. Next.js runs best here, and the edge network keeps sites fast from Auckland to London.
Best for
Sites and apps built on Next.js, and any team that wants previews on every pull request without running a pipeline.
What to watch
Watch bandwidth and function usage as traffic grows. Set spend limits early.

The component system behind our dashboards.

A component library that sits on the shadcn registry, so you own the code. Data grids, sheets, forms and the rest look finished on day one and take design tokens without a fight.
Best for
Product teams building dashboards and admin tools in React who want polish without a design system project.
What to watch
Install components rather than hand editing them, so updates stay easy. Pick one style and keep it.

DNS, protection and speed at the edge.

The channel where short video ads get tested fastest. Beyond™ Ads launches into your own TikTok Ads Manager, so the account, the data and the spend stay yours.
Best for
Product brands and affiliates with something demonstrable on camera. Works best with a steady flow of new creative, which is the problem Beyond™ Ads solves.
What to watch
Creative fatigues quickly. Plan to replace winners, not just find them. Keep your pixel and events clean from day one.

A Grade 2 and Grade 3 certified platform that puts intrusion, fire, water and monitoring on one hub, with photo verification and a timestamped event log. Beyond™ is one of a handful of commercial Ajax installers in New Zealand.
Best for
Homes, lodges and commercial sites that want one system for everything and an audit trail insurers respect.
What to watch
Buy through a certified installer so the design, grading and monitoring are right. Detector placement matters more than device count.

Canva

Fast brand creative for every campaign.

How Beyond™ uses it: Campaign creative, proposal decks and social tiles.

Brand kits, templates and quick edits that anyone on the team can use. Most of the on-screen text and thumbnails in Beyond™ Ads creative start here.
Best for
Small teams that need branded creative every week and do not have a designer on call.
What to watch
Lock the brand kit so colours and fonts stay consistent as more people get access.

Best for
Any business selling online or on subscription, from a first product to a full platform.
What to watch
Model your pricing before you build. Changing plans later is possible but fiddly.

Transactional email our apps send.

How Beyond™ uses it: Lead notifications, sign-in codes and product email.

Transactional email with a developer first API and deliverability that just works. Lead alerts and sign-in emails from Beyond™ apps go through it.
Best for
Apps that send account and notification email and want it to arrive.
What to watch
Verify your sending domain with proper DKIM and DMARC records before you send in volume.
